Bishop Timothy McDonnell will celebrate a special "White Mass" for all those involved in healthcare - doctors, nurses. therapists, technicians and aides, pharmacists and administrators - on Saturday, October 27th, at 4:00 PM, at St. Michael's Cathedral in Springfield. All are cordially invited to this Mass celebrating health care as a holy ministry that brings healing not just for the patient but for the entire community, and to pray for the protection of human life and of conscience for our healthcare providers. A presentation on the implications of Ballot Question 2 by Dr. William Toffler, National Director of Physicians for Compassionate Care Education Foundation, will follow at 5:00 PM in the Marshall Center behind the Cathedral.
