Lee Food Pantry Collection

A few weeks ago, our parish had a food collection for the Lee Food Pantry. It was a big success and we are grateful to everyone who donated, organized, and delivered the food items. Our Parish Pastoral Council has decided that it would be best for us to do these collections when the shelves at the pantry are low instead of the traditional time around Thanksgiving and Christmas. Please know that the Lee Food Pantry accepts donations throughout the year. Just buying one or two items each time you shop and/or turning savings into some purchases are a great help.

While we plan to have one or two large food drives during the year, donations are always needed and accepted. Food donations may be dropped off in specially designated baskets near the entrances of our churches or at the Parish Office at 40 Academy Street in Lee. The Parish Office is open Monday through Friday 9am until 5pm. If you wish, you may call us first to be sure someone will be in the office when you would like to drop off items.

The following lists will help you when shopping for items to donate. Whatever you can give is appreciated; it does not have to be an item that is on the list but it should be non-perishable and please avoid items with high levels of sugar or salt.
