Starting date – August 25, 2016

Selected candidates should be able to:
1. Design engaging, cutting edge lessons to create critical and independent thinkers
2. Adapt teaching methods and instructional materials which promote student collaboration and project based learning. This will also include the use of technology to support the curriculum and teaching strategies.
3. Establish and communicate to students clear objectives for all lessons, units, and projects
4. Plan and conduct activities for a balanced program of instruction, demonstration, and work time that provides students with opportunities to observe, question, and investigate
5. Differentiate lessons to meet the needs of struggling learners and those needing additional challenges
6. Confer with parents or guardians, other teachers, counselors, and administrators in order to resolve students' behavioral and academic problems;
7. Meet with parents and guardians to discuss their children's progress, and to determine their priorities for their children and their resource needs; and
8. Attend staff meetings, and serve on staff committees as required.
