St. Joseph's, Stockbridge, parishioner Luciano Zaffanella died on Tuesday, February 2, 2016. We extend our sincere condolences to Luciano's wife Anna, to his sons, Carlo and Paolo, and to his grandchildren and all of his family and friends. Luciano's funeral Mass was celebrated on Friday, February 5th at St. Joseph's Church, followed by burial at St. Joseph's Cemetery, both in Stockbridge.
Luciano's grandson, Christopher and his granddaughter, Alessandra, both read Scripture readings at the Mass; his sons, Carlo and Paolo, and his daughter-in-law Amy, brought forward the gifts for the Eucharist, and his son Paolo delivered a tribute followed by Carlo's reading of the Prayer of St. Francis in Italian. The Mass was celebrated by our pastor, Fr. Jack Sheaffer, the Bereavement minister was Dr. Fred Conforti, and music was provided by Mrs. Colleen Free, soloist, and organist, Bro. Ken Galisa, MIC.
Eternal rest grant unto him, O Lord. And may perpetual light shine upon him. May Luciano's soul and the souls of all the faithful departed forever rest in peace. Amen.
